Laura Kinney, known as X-23, is a character featured in the 20th Century Fox Marvel films, most notably in "Logan" (2017). She is portrayed by Dafne Keen.
X-23 is a young mutant clone of Wolverine (Logan). Born in a Transigen laboratory, she was created as part of a project to weaponize mutants and replicate Weapon X's success. Like her genetic template, she possesses retractable adamantium claws, two in her hands and one in each foot, and a rapid healing factor.
Laura is initially presented as a feral and highly dangerous weapon, but she gradually reveals vulnerability and emotional depth. Logan takes her under his wing, attempting to protect her from those who seek to exploit her abilities and leading to her becoming his surrogate daughter.
